Why I do this

I’ve been a graphic designer since 2012, working in print and design, including fine print work.

In 2021 I paid an agency £10,000 for a website. It arrived a year late, slow and unusable. Then, in 2022, an SEO company took my money and did nothing.

So I learned to do it myself, properly. I taught myself to build websites and do SEO, and I’ve been doing both since 2022. I started Business Sorted Kent in April 2025.

And it’s not just me. Most of my clients came to me after something similar.

• Excel Inspection Solutions were paying an agency £500 a month for SEO and web design. They never got a report, barely heard from them, and could hardly be found online.
• Another client had wondered for years why nobody could find them online. Their website agency put it down to a few negative Google reviews. That was only a small part of the picture.
• Kent iPhone Repair had a one-page site a friend built. They simply weren’t competing. Now they get around 3,000 clicks from Google every three months, up from around 260. Read the case study.

Now I see small businesses paying silly money for slow, bloated websites and SEO that doesn’t show results. I’d rather do it right, at a fair price.
