Business Sorted Kent is a founder-led digital agency for small businesses across Kent and Greater London. We work with tradespeople, professional services, hospitality and retail: the owner-managed businesses that need a proper online presence without agency overheads.
Why we exist
Why this business exists.
In 2021 I paid an agency £10,000 for a website. It arrived a year late, slow and unusable, and I ended up scrapping it and building my own.
In 2022 I paid an SEO company a lump sum, then monthly. They told me everything they planned to do, and never did it. What they did teach me, without meaning to, was the basics. I took it from there and learned the rest properly.
Business Sorted Kent exists so neither of those things happens to anyone I work with. You see your working website before you pay a penny. And SEO is reported honestly: you see what got done and what it ranked for.
What we do
Three things, done properly.
We build websites that are fast, secure and structured to be found. We run SEO that is measured and reported honestly, with no vague monthly packages. And we automate the repetitive admin that takes time away from the actual work.
Every project is priced to the brief. No retainers, no rolling contracts, no minimum term.
The part clients tend to remember is the preview. We build your website first and show you a working version before you pay anything, so the decision is made on what you can see rather than what you have been promised.

Everyday businesses.
Salons, pest control firms, iPhone repair shops, lift inspectors, electricians, plumbers, roofers, cleaners, landscapers, accountants, holiday-let owners. People who run real businesses and would rather be doing the work than wrestling with their website.
Most of our clients hire us so they can focus on the work they’re actually good at. If you already know SEO and could build your own site in Webflow, we’re probably not for you.
Why the work holds up
The tools changed. The standards didn’t.
Building a small business website used to take two designers, two developers and three weeks. Modern tooling changed that. The hours came down.
The work itself didn’t change. Same checks for speed, security and SEO. Same attention to design, copy and structure. Same hand-checking of every page before it goes live. What changed is how long it takes to do that work. That speed goes into the job: faster turnaround and more time on the details, not cutting corners.

How we work
A few things we do differently.
Free preview before you pay
The preview sits at a temporary URL and takes 2 to 3 working days. If you like it, we finish and launch it on your domain. If you pass, that is the end of it.
No rolling contracts
Hosting is month-to-month. SEO is hour-to-hour. Walk away whenever it stops being useful. We’d rather earn the next month than lock you into one.
You talk to the person doing the work
Founder-led. No account managers, no juniors, no outsourcing to a different timezone. If you email, the person who replies is the person building your thing.
Honest about AI
AI is part of how this work gets done now, and we say so rather than pretending otherwise. The design decisions, the editing and the final checks are still made by people who know what good looks like.

Business Sorted Kent is founder-led. That means when you ring, message, or email, you’re talking to the person actually building your site or doing your SEO. Not a sales rep, not a project manager, not someone reading a script.
Background in graphic design first, then websites, then SEO, then automations. That’s why the sites we build look like they were designed instead of generated, why the SEO work is hands-on, and why the automations are built rather than bolted on.
When a job needs niche expertise we bring in a trusted specialist. Most of the time it doesn’t.
